Chorionic Villus Sampling
Chorionic Villus Sampling is a test that can determine if your baby has a genetic or chromosomal condition. This test can be performed earlier in a pregnancy than amniocentesis. In this procedure, we remove a small sample of the placenta by using a high-resolution ultrasound as we insert a needle through the abdomen to sample the placenta or a catheter vaginally through the cervix.
Our Care Approach
High-risk pregnancies take specialized care. But we believe it also takes a trusting partnership where you feel comfortable to share your concerns, fears, and challenges. We believe that by working together, we can make sure you have the healthiest pregnancy possible.
