Sara Peterson

Sara Peterson is originally from the Kansas City area. After graduating nursing school from Rockhurst University, she started her career as a Labor and Delivery nurse. She went on to receive a master's degree from the University of Missouri- Kansas City and has spent the majority of her career as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in high-risk obstetrics. She worked for several years in a high acuity inpatient setting providing care to women experiencing complications during their pregnancy, before joining our team in July of 2022 . Her experience working with patients in the inpatient setting taught her the value of holistic care. Sara enjoys building strong relationships with her patients and their families. She also has a special interest in caring for women with diabetes in pregnancy.
When not at work, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and their three young daughters. They love playing with Vinny their German Shepherd, traveling, spending time outdoors, and experiencing life together!
